Terms and Conditions

By booking a Tutor Club place or extra session with Owl Teaching, you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions.

Consent form

No child will be permitted to attend a booked extra session or Tutor Club without a fully completed Consent Form from their parent or guardian. Children without this completed document on file will be turned away from the session, and no refund will be issued.

It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to promptly inform Owl Teaching of any changes or updates to the information provided on the Consent Form.

Health and safety

The Consent Form allows parents/guardians to communicate any medical requirements, allergies and to grant permission for snacks.

• Parents are asked to provide their children with a drink for the session.

• While we carefully record allergy information, we request that parents also notify the child’s tutor on the day of the session. We cannot guarantee that snacks brought into the room are nut-free.

• Parents must update Owl Teaching of any changes to a child’s health or any conditions that may affect their participation.

• If a parent wishes their child to leave the session unaccompanied, written permission is required. Otherwise, tutors will only release children to a parent or guardian.

• Owl Teaching reserves the right to request a chaperone for children with health or safety needs that staff are not trained to manage such as administering medication, monitoring diabetes.

Securing a place

To secure a place for your child, complete the online booking form and submit payment. A confirmation email will be sent by Owl Teaching once your booking is successfully processed.

Cancellation by Owl Teaching

If Owl Teaching needs to cancel a scheduled session, you will be notified as soon as possible. An alternative session will be offered. In the event of postponements due to severe weather or other circumstances beyond our control, sessions will be rescheduled. Refunds will not automatically be issued.

Missed sessions

Missed sessions are non-refundable. However, if space permits in a future session, a transfer may be offered.

Club membership cancellation

If you choose to cancel your child’s club membership:

• You will not be charged for sessions occurring after the date of cancellation.

• You remain responsible for payment of all sessions up to the date Owl Teaching receives written email confirmation of the cancellation. Please check for a reply so that you can be sure we have received it. For cancellations email owlteachinguk@gmail.com

Refunds for extra sessions

Refunds for extra sessions or Tutor Club bookings are not normally provided. However, if your child is unable to attend a booked session, Owl Teaching will offer an alternative session of equivalent value whenever possible.
